Flashy and tear-drop shaped.

Distinguished by its vibrant red-orange skin, Red Kuri is a round-shaped squash with golden yellow flesh. The flesh, featuring fibrous pulp and numerous seeds that can be roasted as a snack, boasts a sweet, nutty flavor that is further heightened by the roasting process. Its smooth texture makes it an excellent choice for pies and purées, as the red specks of skin are not visible. Red Kuri is also recognized by the name Orange Hokkaido.
