This is another one of our daughter's FAVOURITE. While this variety is originally from Russia the seeds were obtained from a Canadian gentleman in his 80's. The original name of the tomato was lost over the years so it was named after the elderly gentleman who supplied the seeds: Sylvan Gaume!!!
The fruits are large, meaty and mostly have ribbed shoulders. While the fruit is irregularly-shaped (6-12 oz.), the taste is delicious!!
