Sugar Baby has been the standard of "icebox" melons for many years. Ripe melons are almost black when mature. The flesh is firm, sweet, almost orange-red, with small, apple-like seeds, great flavor!
Mature fruits are 5-8lbs, between 6-8” in diameter ( 8-10 pounds each).
Provide as much heat as possible for the best productivity. Harvest at full-slip (when a gentle tug removes the fruit from the vine).
